PosAbilities Employment Program
Our goal is to have all participants in open employment or volunteering placements and show the open market how valuable ASD people are in their workplace.
This program is devoted to further developing employability skills, actively seeking work in the open market and focussing on building real workplace experiences in their chosen occupation field. Through experience in our Café, Florist, Maintenance and Volunteering programs, our young ASD people will enhance their capacity to gain meaningful long-term employment out in the open market.
Our exceptional staff will provide individualised Career Pathway Plans, build capacity in the work sector, and support their goals in gaining and maintaining the jobs they desire.
Part of this program includes support, training and awareness-raising for employers around the Illawarra to increase their understanding and appreciation of the incredible resource those on the autism spectrum provide to their workplace.
